Roomed Privacy Policy

Effective August 7, 2026

Roomed is built to know as little about you as possible.

No accounts, no tracking

Roomed has no user accounts, no sign-up, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you. We never see your data on any server we operate — because we don't operate any.

What the app stores

Roomed stores only what a clinic needs to route "room ready" notifications: your clinic's name, its room labels, staff first names (or whatever display name each person types), staff roles, and timestamps of room-ready and chaperone events. Nothing else — and never any patient information. Patient names, records, and any protected health information have no place in Roomed and cannot be entered anywhere in the app.

Where it lives

That data is stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) in a shared database for your clinic, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Notifications are delivered by Apple's push service. Using Roomed requires being signed into iCloud on your device.

Leaving and removal

Leaving a clinic (Settings → Leave clinic) removes the clinic from your device and stops all notifications to it. Providers can deactivate any member, which removes that member's access on their next app launch.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Questions: gyndok@yahoo.com.
